Great golf. A new clubhouse. A century of history in Edmonton. These are only some of the elements Royal Mayfair offers its members every time they set foot on property. Since it was founded in 1922 as Mayfair Golf and Country Club, the club has been a hub for Edmontonians seeking the best golf has to offer.
For current members, Royal Mayfair offers everything they could want in a great private club experience. The course is always impeccably maintained, easily walked, and playable by all golfers, from the member seeking competition to the junior member who wants to stroll on our fairways with a parent in the evening as they soak in the game of a lifetime.
The course is also ideal for those seeking different experiences from the game, offering an 18-hole championship option, or shorter loops of holes that can be played in the evening and route you back to the clubhouse.
And starting in 2021, Royal Mayfair will completely rebuild its clubhouse, creating a classic, but contemporary building that will hold elegant and casual dining spaces, golf simulators, workout space, while turning the existing Professional Shop into a business center.

OUR ROYAL DESIGNATION
In 2005, Queen Elizabeth granted Mayfair its Royal status in recognition of the club’s longstanding and continued commitment to the sport of golf. This recognition makes Royal Mayfair one of the few clubs in Canada to have official “Royal” designation, and connects it to many of the best clubs in the world that have similar status.
